SHAN ZHONG, VICE MINISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE, CHINA, VISITED MARKET UNION'S BOOTH IN SPRING FAIR BIRMINGHAM

10:30 a.m. February 2nd, Shan Zhong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, China, visited Market Union’s exhibit booth in Spring Fair Birmingham and had a brief talk with our manager Jessie Lai about the company. In this fair, Chinese delegation’s companies, staff and booths are all the most. Minister Zhong also pointed out in the press conference that the bilateral economic cooperation between China and UK has great complementarity and potential. However, right now the trade between the two countries is still not much. A benign trading relationship is not only good for the economic growth of both countries, but also fits their fundamental interests. The Mayor of Birmingham, Mike Whitby, said that Birmingham has become an important city and communication hub, and expressed his hope of enhancing economic exchanges between China and UK.
